Fold-formed bowl, with 8 folds. Not raised or sunk in the traditional way, the curve is created by folding the sheet, and hammering the fold to stretch the metal and create the curve. The process gives rise to the decorative ribs and stitch-like marks, and the rippled edge of the bowl. The form is reminiscent of sea urchins, or other undersea creatures or plants.
