OUR ETHICAL STATEMENT
Wherever possible, we are always seeking alternatives that are more environmentally friendly, ethical and sustainable.
All jewellery is made from 100% recycled Ecosilver.
100% recycled silver not always possible for larger scale work, but all the silver bullion we buy is around 90% recycled. Every last scrap of silver is saved and reused or recycled; all filings and offcuts, and even the floor sweepings. This has always has been the case in the precious metal trade. Resources are precious, and mining is damaging.
Jewellery packaging is stylish and luxurious, made from 99% recycled cardboard. Wrapping is 100% plastic free. The only issue we have been unable to resolve to date is the foam inserts in our jewellery boxes. We continue to seek a sustainable alternative.
Workshop electricity is 100% renewable.
Using current stocks and resources in the workshop (for example re-using plastic bags, but not buying new ones) and if new items are needed always opting for biodegradable/recycled/low impact options. Always actively seeking to reduce, re-use, recycle.
Many small actions make a big difference, for example, using the Ecosia search engine plants trees worldwide as you search, instead of filling pockets in Silicon valley.
Always seeking these small changes that add up; we drink a lot of tea in the workshop, we use PG Tips teabags, which are the only mainstream teabags which are completely compostable and have no plastic. Also Seep biodegradable washing up sponge scourers, instead of ones made from virgin plastic, that will be around forever.
We make pieces that will last many, many years, even many lifetimes. That is one of the beauties of silver. It is a noble element, and has always been revered for its everlasting qualities.
ORDERING
When you place an order, we will require your name, e-mail address and delivery address. Without this information we will not be able to process your request or notify you of acceptance of your order. A contact telephone number is also required so that we may reach you if there is a problem with your order, or if your order requires a delivery quote.
We may, unless you advise us otherwise, pass this information to our couriers or other agents in case they need to contact you to arrange the processing or delivery of your order so that you order can be fulfilled. Rauni Higson will not pass on private data to third parties for marketing purposes.
When you subscribe to our newsletter we will only send you information about our company. You may opt out of receiving mailings from us by choosing to unsubscribe from the mailing list – a link to do this is provided on every mailing

DELIVERY
Delivery is complimentary on all orders over £800 in the UK. Other deliveries are charged individually by weight at cost, as listed with the product information. Online orders will be dispatched within 4 working days (often less) and all UK parcels are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is fully insured, and requires a signature on delivery.
Delivery before 9am and next day delivery can be arranged by special request (please call or email). European and International delivery is also charged at cost.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We aim for all our customers to be happy customers; if you wish to return or exchange an item then please notify us by phone or email within 14 days of receipt.
Please return the goods, within 30 days, in original packaging. We recommend using a ‘signed for’ delivery method and retain proof of posting, as we cannot accept liability for packages going missing in the post.
When we receive the returned goods, your payment for the product and original delivery to you will be refunded via the original payment method within 28 days.
Every piece is carefully checked before sending out to you. If a product is damaged in transit or faulty, please return it in the original packaging, using a ‘signed for’ delivery method and retain proof of posting. When we receive the returned goods, your payment for the product and original delivery, plus return postage, will be refunded via the original payment method within 28 days.
The following items are non-returnable:
• Items not in original purchase condition (unless faulty)
• Earrings for pierced ears (unless faulty)
