Afon Table Sculpture
The Afon Table Sculpture comprises three pieces that work together as a sculptural set, or can be taken as individual pieces. Made in response to the turbulence of a river in full spate.
There is sharpness and angularity in fierce water. Each piece is a frozen vignette of the flow. Afon means river in Welsh. Immersion in the cold water of the rivers and lakes of Eryri (Snowdonia) has become a vital experience for me, which this piece embodies. A river of silver to flow across a table or surface, the particular composition can be chosen to suit the space.
