A fun few days with Rebecca Oldfield in the workshop, troubleshooting some of her projects, including moving forward with a press-formed silver box, some tricky soldering, and some precision forming and refining of a vessel she had previously made, (pictured), which developed into an elegant piece. We worked on marking out, accuracy, finding and using reference points, with excellent results.
I love creative problem solving, and finding a way to make ideas a reality. There’s always a way… or several ways, the trick is finding the best/most practical/most efficient/possible with the tools at hand way.
