The Afon Table Sculpture comprises three pieces that work together as a sculptural set, or can be taken as individual pieces. Made in response to the turbulence of a river in full spate.
There is sharpness and angularity in fierce water. Each piece is a frozen vignette of the flow. Afon means river in Welsh. Immersion in the cold water of Snowdonia’s rivers and lakes has become a vital experience particularly over the last year.
