I can finally share what I’ve been working on for months… On Sunday 15th August, 2021, a new trophy was presented at Henley Royal Regatta, commissioned for a new event, the Junior Women’s Eights Rowing Championship. It was won by Headington School Boat Club, by a very convincing margin of several boat lengths. The design is based on the wake left behind by the rowers, sets of eight oars leaving the water turbulent and frothy, then slowly rippling out as the gilded stern of the boat disappears downstream.
